Upon his unveiling, Bamidele expressed his delight: "Its a new adventure for me and Im ready to give everything for my new team". Power Dynamos, nicknamed Aba Yellow, have clearly set their sights high after clinching the 2024/25 Zambian Premier League title.

Bamidele's arrival follows in the footsteps of other Nigerian imports. Dennis Nya, also 28, previously earned two endofseason awards at Zesco United and joins Dynamos as they aim to maintain the Champions League push. The timing is perfect the squad departs soon for a preseason training camp in Johannesburg, laying the groundwork for what promises to be a challenging campaign across both domestic and continental fronts.

Editorial

We view Bamideles move to Power Dynamos as a strategically astute decision for both player and club. At 26, he arrives during his prime, bringing defensive solidity, leadership, and aerial strength all essential traits for a team with ambitions extending to the CAF Champions League.

Power Dynamos ambition is evident in their recruitment. A central defender like Bamidele reinforces their spine, while the acquisition of Moses Shumah adds firepower up front. We believe this balanced approach aligns perfectly with longterm competitive goals.

The clubs confidence in Nigerian talent is significant. Following Nyas decorated spell in Zambia, Bamidele steps into a league where compatriots have already made an impact. His integration will be smoother thanks to both cultural familiarity and the support of seasoned teammates.

We also appreciate the practical planning displayed sending the squad to Johannesburg ahead of the season shows professionalism and commitment. We think these a club ready to challenge on all fronts.

Our conviction is firm: with Bamidele anchoring the defence, Power Dynamos are better equipped than ever to compete for top honours in Zambia and beyond. And for Bamidele, it is a career-defining stage upon which to shine.
